How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four? At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first. That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay.

As Crookhey Hall continues to grow, we’re looking for a passionate, creative and driven Teacher to join our exceptional team. This is a role for someone who wants more than just a classroom — it’s for someone who wants their work to be meaningful, memorable and genuinely life-changing.

At Crookhey Hall, your ideas are welcomed, your individuality is celebrated, and your impact is felt every single day.

About the Role

No two days are ever the same — and that’s exactly what makes this role so rewarding. You’ll work with pupils who have varied and complex needs, within a supportive, forward-thinking environment where relationships, creativity and progress truly matter.

Working closely with the Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will:

  • Uphold the highest professional standards of teaching
  • Contribute positively to a committed, collaborative staff team
  • Deliver teaching aligned with the school’s ethos, values and policies
  • Champion what makes Crookhey Hall a special place to learn and work

You will bring learning to life by:

  • Delivering the curriculum in creative, engaging and meaningful ways
  • Designing hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity
  • Building confidence through imaginative teaching approaches

You’ll thrive here if you want to spend less time on paperwork and more time doing what you love: inspiring pupils and creating real, memorable moments of learning.

What We’re Looking For — Essential Criteria

We’re seeking a confident, committed teacher who brings both skill and heart to the classroom. You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • A strong belief in the potential of every pupil
  • High-quality classroom practice and professional standards
  • Confidence supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH and/or ASD
  • A proactive, resilient approach and strong commitment to safeguarding
  • A positive, collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in training and development

Desirable

  • Experience supporting young people from challenging backgrounds
  • Evidence of driving positive pupil outcomes
