The predicted salary is between 39000 - 51000 £ per year.

How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four? Our colleagues' wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we're always looking for new ways to improve everyone's work/life balance. We're taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent). 4DWW will be rolled out within our school when we have a full complement of staff, and within the next year, so there's never been a more exciting time to join us.

Location: Groveside School, Reading, RG2 7AY

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience (not pro rata)

Additional: £1,000 Welcome Bonus (T&Cs apply)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

Start: April 2026

About the Role

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will lead and manage high-quality SEN provision across the classroom, including 1:1 sessions, small group interventions and differentiated learning approaches. You will oversee and deploy support staff effectively, ensuring the impact of SEN provision is monitored, evaluated and shared with SLT and governors. Working closely with external professionals, you will help secure the best outcomes for our learners, while also delivering staff INSET on Individual Needs and keeping the whole team up to date with the latest SEND developments and legislation. Alongside this, you will teach lessons within your specialist subject, allowing you to engage with larger groups and share your expertise more widely. About the school

Groveside School is a Brand-New Special Educational Needs School for Pupils 7 - 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. Our school opened in September 2024 and will cater for 60 pupils.
