Location: Overton School – Shropshire, SY8 4AD
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent upon experience) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply)
About the role:

- We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, which includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy and therapy assistants.
- You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the pupils we support.
- You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation.
- This position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload.
- You will provide information and training to staff, commissioners and other agencies as required.

Essential Criteria:
- Speech and Language Therapy degree
- Registered with HCPC and RCSLT.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in SEN education, or with a similar caseload, as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience of managing a complex caseload.
- Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
- Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision.
- Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated specialty.
