Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:00pm

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and innovative Maths Teacher who is ready to lead, inspire, and make a real difference for pupils with SEMH and ASD. As our new Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, tailored lessons to pupils with complex needs while leading the development of Maths across the school.
  • Help pupils who may have struggled with traditional education to build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
  • Work alongside a dedicated team, supported by a strong safeguarding culture where pupils are heard, respected, and empowered.
  • Uphold professional teaching standards, lead by example, and drive creative approaches to learning and assessment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering stimulating and accessible Maths lessons for pupils with SEMH and ASD.
  • Leading and developing the school's Maths provision, including curriculum, assessment, and interventions.
  • Building confidence, curiosity, and engagement in pupils who may have disengaged from learning.
  • Collaborating across the school to ensure a cross-curricular, inclusive approach to Maths.
  • Monitoring pupil progress, tracking data, and implementing strategies to raise attainment.
  • Championing numeracy across the school, from classroom practice to whole-school events.
  • Acting as a visible role model, demonstrating excellent teaching and leadership in Maths.
  • Contributing to the school's strong safeguarding and pastoral support culture.

We want a qualified, enthusiastic Maths teacher who is passionate about supporting every learner to reach their potential:

  • QTS and experience teaching Maths.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Passion for working with pupils with SEMH and ASD.
