Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm | Tuesday 8:30am – 4:30pm

As a Primary SEMH Teacher, you’ll inspire, support, and empower pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You’ll deliver differentiated, creative lessons, fostering confidence, curiosity, and independence. Your work will help pupils overcome barriers and achieve their full potential in a nurturing, supportive classroom environment.
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across EYFS to KS2, tailored to individual SEMH needs.
- Teach core subjects (English and Maths) and support other areas of the curriculum.
- Build strong, trusting relationships to enhance pupil engagement, emotional resilience, and confidence.
- Contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and participate in EHCP reviews to ensure pupils’ needs are met.
UK QTS (fully qualified teacher – not suitable for ECTs). Proven experience teaching pupils with SEMH, autism, or additional needs, ideally across primary age ranges. Passion for helping pupils find confidence, joy, and success in learning.
