IT / Computer Science Teacher / Instructor Up to 29,000.00 per annum, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only, November 2025 start! Avonside School, Bristol BS4 5PS Our New Acorn Education School – Avonside School in Bristol, will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open August 2025. The school will be a co-educational provision for pupils with complex needs including SEMH. Key Responsibilities To teach IT across the KS3 and 4 provision linked to the national curriculum to students aged between; 11-19. To be a form tutor for students to support them in their education. To help develop core IT skills that enable pupils function in the wider world. Play a key role in the development of SEN provision within Avonside. Work with the schools therapy team and build strong curriculum based on the needs of the students. Enable access to learning and social opportunities for pupils with SEN through the delivery of teaching, support, families and the young person.
