Salary: Up to 30,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday 8:15am-4:30pm | Tuesday - Friday 8:15am - 3:45pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PE Instructor to deliver engaging, high-quality physical education and outdoor learning experiences for children and young people aged 7-18. This role combines structured PE teaching with Outdoor Education and Duke of Edinburgh Award programmes, inspiring pupils to stay active, build confidence, and develop key life skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver purposeful, engaging PE lessons and outdoor learning activities
- Deliver Outdoor Education sessions, including full-day activities where required
- Lead Duke of Edinburgh Award sessions and support learners to achieve accredited outcomes
- Create termly plans tailored to different classes, ages, and individual learner needs
- Use a variety of teaching styles and resources to engage pupils both indoors and outdoors
- Encourage participation, enthusiasm, and enjoyment in physical activity and outdoor learning
- Promote positive behaviour management by establishing clear routines and boundaries to ensure safety and wellbeing
This role is ideal for someone passionate about physical activity and outdoor education, with the energy and creativity to motivate young people and help them thrive through sport and adventure.
