Salary: ÂŁ8,362.50 per annum (ÂŁ12.50 per hour - not pro rata)
Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 3:15pm to 6:15pm, Friday 2:15pm to 5:15pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As we continue to grow, weâre excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our supportive and close-knit team at Glebedale School, based in Stoke-on-Trent.
About the RoleTo undertake the cleaning of any designated areas to the highest possible standard, as directed within the school, reporting to the School Administrator.
Key Task Areas and Responsibilities- To promote the good reputation of the school by cleaning all areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- To ensure all equipment and chemicals are used and handled correctly at all times, in accordance with manufacturerâs instructions, COSHH regulations and health and Safety legislation.
- To carry out all daily and weekly routines together with any special cleaning duties as directed and necessary.
- To notify the Administrator/Headteacher of any mechanical failure of equipment or equipment unsafe for use.
- To inform the Site Manager of additional supplies or cleaning materials required.
- To report all compliments, comments and complaints.
- To report any defects, damage, theft, breakages or hazards.
- To carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, Service Users and other persons on site.
Glebedale School is a special needs school which provides provision for ages 7 years and upwards. We provide a nurturing and welcoming environment to SEMH pupils, and our curriculum has a keen focus on therapy, education and personal development. Our school aims to help pupils grow academically, socially and emotionally to enable them to become capable future citizens.
We provide education to 30 pupils from the Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire areas. At our last Ofsted in December 2022, we were rated âGoodâ.
