Job Title: Design & Food Tech Teacher
Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AB
Salary: Up to ÂŁ46,000 per annum, dependent on experience (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: March 2026

  • Deliver practical, engaging, and inspiring lessons that bring Design & Food Technology to life
  • Develop creative resources and activities tailored to pupils’ individual needs
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance learning
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and share ideas within the team
  • Promote Baston House as a hub of creativity, professionalism, and care

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching autistic or SEN pupils (highly desirable)
