Salary: Up to ÂŁ48,000.00 per annum depending on experience (Not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term time only

Start Date: January 2026

About the role

As a dynamic and motivated qualified teacher, you’ll work with pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs—supporting them to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that spark curiosity and excitement, adapting learning to suit each individual. Alongside academic progress, you’ll place equal value on pupils’ wellbeing, confidence, and personal development.

  • Plan and deliver stimulating, personalised lessons on a daily basis
  • Develop creative and innovative teaching approaches that engage and motivate learners
  • Respond flexibly to the needs of pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs
  • Observe, monitor, and assess pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued

About Us

Woodside Park School is a brand-new Options Autism school, located in Penge, South East London. We provide specialist education for up to 36 pupils aged 7–11. Pupils are taught in small class sizes, allowing for personalised learning, and work towards a variety of qualifications tailored to their individual needs and abilities. Our dedicated team creates a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every child is supported to reach their full potential both academically and personally.

For over 19 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.
