The Role: We are looking for a skilled communications professional to join our London team as an Account Executive. Account Executives (AEs) are responsible for effective media outreach, driving the implementation of PR campaigns and achieving results for clients as agreed upon with more senior team members. Account Executives interface with client contacts, as well as media relations contacts on a day-to-day basis and regularly draft client, press, or public-facing communications/content, while maintaining insights and gaining understanding of industry trends and competitors through research and media monitoring. As an AE, you will be entrusted with responding to client needs & questions independently (or with limited oversight), while beginning to forge relationships with media contacts and assisting in other various projects.
At a minimum you will:
- Support team members on multiple client accounts
- Responsible for executing and/or overseeing a variety of client program activities including research, media monitoring, and establishing relevant relationships on behalf of clients (including advocacy and earned and social media contacts when appropriate)
- Develop drafts of client documents including press releases, Q&As, fact sheets, social media posts, results reports, activity reports, etc. and proofs all documents for thoroughness and accuracy before providing to other team members or client for review
- Manage comprehensive projects and/or events including logistics, timetables and deadlines
- Provide creative input in developing client strategy documents
- Identify communication trends and educating/informing clients and colleagues on changes and trends
- Leverage clients’ extensive data to conceive and drive stories apart from traditional news milestones
- Oversee and reinforcing consistent adherence to media management processes: media lists, coverage monitoring and industry coverage trends.
- Maintain and grow client relationships by contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies, executing on projects (leading where appropriate)

What You’ll Need:
- Preferably some PR & communications experience, within an agency and with technology and/or entrepreneurial brands
- Strong writing, editing, research, and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities with grace
- Positive energy, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Passion for technology, media, and the evolving communications landscape
- A sense of humor—and the grit to thrive in a fast-paced environment
