About the Role

Outbox Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics operator based in Widnes. Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers to join their professional driving team.

This is a straightforward tramping role involving trunking work only — no loading, unloading, or handballing. Drivers can start their working week on either Saturday or Sunday, completing 5 days on the road with 4 nights out.

What You’ll Need

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Previous UK HGV Class 1 experience (level dependent on salary band)
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
  • Good knowledge of UK road and tacho regulations
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to pass pre-employment checks
