Our client, a growing logistics company based in Leeds , is hiring HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers for UK-wide bay-to-bay trunking. This is a full-time, permanent PAYE role offering long-term security, modern trucks, and strong earning potential for experienced professionals.
What\’s on offer:
- Salary: £42,000-£43,000 per year (inclusive of allowances)
- Paid monthly on PAYE (no umbrella)
- Modern, well-maintained fleet (Mercedes / MAN)

Your Role:
- UK-wide tramping – bay-to-bay, drop-and-go work
- No manual handling involved
- Complete vehicle checks and defect reports
- Drive safely, efficiently, and within legal rest and tachograph regulations
- Represent the company professionally at all times
What You\’ll Need:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- At least 2 years\’ HGV driving experience in the UK
- No more than 6 points on your licence (no TT, DR, or IN codes)
- Good understanding of tacho rules and UK road regulations
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test and background check
- Right to work in the UK
Shift Pattern:
- Day and night shift availability
- 5 consecutive days (Sunday to Thursday or similar)
- Overnight tramping required
