Your Impact
As a personable, curious, and enthusiastic Sales Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor on Axon’s solutions, supporting SaaS, on-premise software, networking, and impactful PoCs. You will support the deployment of evidence capture devices, digital evidence management solutions, SaaS, and on-premise solutions to UK Public Safety Agencies. This quota-carrying, customer-facing role influences product deployment and enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Support sales efforts with technical presentations, architecture discussions, PoCs, RFP/RFI responses, demonstrations, and workshops.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery via Professional Services or partners.
- Research and network to become a regional resource for solutions, product roadmaps, and thought leadership.
- Present Axon’s technical and business value at industry events.
- Develop deep technical knowledge of Axon and related domains.
- Document customer requests and feedback for product teams.
- Support product evaluations and site assessments.
- Transfer industry and technical knowledge to customers and colleagues.
- Proactively address pre- and post-sales issues to accelerate revenue.
What You Bring
- An enthusiastic aptitude for technology and storytelling skills.
- Confidence to guide customers to successful outcomes.
- A self-starter attitude and collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel (50%), including internationally.
- Valid passport, clean driving license, and UK residency for 5+ years.
- 8+ years in related technical sales or engineering roles.
- Knowledge in Digital Video, Mobile communications, IP Engineering, Security, Embedded Systems, IAM, SaaS.
- Understanding of CCTV, VMS, network tech, IP stack, and large-scale infrastructure platforms.
- Experience in data integration, analysis, and project management.
- Fluent in English, with remote work experience.
- Certifications like Demo2Win!, Great Demo, or similar are advantageous.
- Experience with digital evidence products or public safety sectors is a plus.
