Suitable for candidates with 5+ experience in US personal tax with the ability to dual handle UK tax filings. Knowledge of US taxation of UK limited companies required.
As a key member of the team, you will look after our larger clients, ensuring tax compliance and advisory needs are met to the highest standards. You will help junior staff, share knowledge, and collaborate with Directors and Partners on complex technical challenges.
You will have the complete support of the wider Oury Clark tax team of Enrolled Agents, CPAs, CTAs and ACAs.

Your role
- Manage a portfolio of US personal tax clients many with UK tax filing requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of US federal and state tax returns and UK tax returns where required.
- Review individual US tax returns for a varied private client portfolio many with UK company shares.
- Handle both compliance and advisory work for the portfolio
- Stay up to date on US and UK tax for research and advice
- Build and maintain relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Help take potential new client calls to grow your portfolio.
- Help lead the team on all day to day matters.
- Interest with forms form 5471 3520, 3520A and 8865, working with US clients who have UK Ltd companies.
- Foreign partnerships knowledge would also be helpful.
About you
- 5+ years of experience within a dual handling team including management of client portfolio.
- EA or CPA qualified
- Strong technical US and UK tax knowledge
- Passionate about helping clients and providing good client service
- Ability to produce a high quality of work in an efficient manner
- Previous experience with US taxation of foreign companies and partnerships
- Previous experience training junior members of a team.
