A Support Worker is sought to assist a young gentleman living with a Traumatic Brain Injury. The role focuses on enabling independence, participation in activities, and support during daily living.

Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and medication support
- Supporting daily living tasks and household duties
- Accompanying the client on outings and occasional trips
Person Specification
- Positive attitude with a vibrant personality
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to transport the client in their own vehicle
- Experience of complex care and/or Acquired Brain Injury
- Comfortable in a home with pets
- Flexible and reliable
Preferred
- Experience in complex community care is desirable

Job Purpose
To support the client with day-to-day living, promoting independence and ensuring safety and wellbeing at all times.
Internal and Management
This role reports to the Registered Manager.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide practical support for personal care, household tasks and paperwork
- Encourage engagement in daily activities, social, leisure, and work according to the client’s choice
- Support healthcare needs, including administering medication and other clinical tasks
- Assist the client to access community facilities and groups if desired
- Adapt communication to meet the client’s needs
- Keep accurate, up-to-date care records
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure consistency of support
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Participate in learning and development opportunities
This role may include additional duties as reasonably required by the Line Manager. Terms of employment may require other duties or hours.
