At Our Vet Cranbourne, we have created a clinic designed with optimal veterinary care in mind, where every detail is tailored to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Nestled in the popular Homemaker Centre on the busy South Gippsland Highway, Our Vet Cranbourne is a small animal practice benefiting from high foot traffic and the backing of our pet retailer partner PetO/Best Friend Pets.
Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, 9am β 5:30pm, with Saturdays on rotation, providing both exceptional veterinary care and an enviable work-life balance for our dedicated team. Our clinic benefits from regular visits by medical and surgical specialists, allowing the team to manage a broad range of cases. Our resident senior Veterinarian works closely with our Business Manager and receives dedicated support from an experienced and highly engaged Chief Vet Officer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Veterinary Nurse to join our team. Shifts are balanced between front-of-house and back-of-house duties. Your role will involve:
- Assisting with surgical procedures, monitoring anaesthetics, and providing post-operative care
- Administering medication and performing routine medical checks
- Managing and maintaining patient records accurately
- Delivering exceptional customer service and handling client inquiries
- Running diagnostic tests using in-house lab equipment such as Idexx machines and X-rays
- Supporting our vets in consultations and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the clinic
