Running your own HR consultancy is rewarding, flexible, and empowering. You are an experienced HR Specialist or HR Director, or have worked at a similar level and are considering a move from employment to setting up an HR consultancy. A path exists to be self-employed while having Director level coaching and support and access to comprehensive resources, including Marketing Agency content and HR and Training Course Resource Libraries. This is a viable route to grow your HR consulting business quickly and sustainably, while adding real value to client relationships.

Role and responsibilities

We offer experienced, CIPD qualified HR professionals a unique opportunity to build their own business by supplying commercially sound, tailored HR advice to employers of all sizes and sectors. Responsibilities include:

  • Run your own HR/training consultancy as part of our franchise network
  • Prioritise clients needs and apply strong professional consulting skills
  • Develop and grow a client portfolio through our business development and marketing resources
  • Utilise our 1-2-1 mentoring, coaching, and support package to accelerate business growth
  • Leverage ongoing support, marketing collateral, and resources to maximise impact
  • Engage with the network to access client opportunities and early-stage projects

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experienced and qualified HR professional, authorised to live and work in the UK

• Drive, commitment, and passion to run a successful HR/training consultancy

• CIPD qualification is preferred; sector specialization or professional service background is advantageous

• Ability to focus on building a business, prioritising clients' needs, and applying professional consulting skills

About the opportunity

Our expansion plans are modest; we aim to recruit a small number of franchise partners each year with a defined up-front investment. The opportunity emphasises a value-for-money, practical pathway into running a franchise business with strong brand reputation and support. We provide industry-leading resources, including blog content, marketing collateral, business development support, and holiday cover, with director-level support available by phone.

Additional context

In 2024 we launched a strategic partnership with www.iReport.work, a 24/7 reporting and AI tool to assist employers in meeting their duty to prevent sexual harassment. Franchisees can access new client and investigation work through this relationship.
