OurHouse was created as a sanctuary for modern families—a place where parents can feel at home, children can thrive, and everyday life feels a little easier. Now, we’re building something just as important behind the scenes: a team who believe in that same mission and want to help shape it. We’re growing fast with new Houses opening across London. We’re looking for a People Business Partner (with a focus on Learning & Development) to help us make OurHouse not just a great place for families, but the best place to work.

What You’ll Do

  • As part of a small, collaborative People team, you’ll be the connector between our People strategy and our club teams on the ground.
  • Be a trusted advisor to leaders and managers across multiple Houses.
  • Provide thoughtful, practical HR support day to day balancing care with commercial sense.
  • Coach managers on growing teams, engagement, and performance.
  • Design and deliver learning programmes that feel like OurHouse—warm, creative, and effective.
  • Build onboarding experiences that make every new joiner feel part of something special from day one.
  • Develop clear career pathways and leadership development plans across roles.
  • Embed a culture of continuous learning where development is part of how we work, not just a workshop.
  • Identify where skills and confidence need strengthening and build clever, scalable ways to meet those needs.
  • Champion inclusion and a sense of belonging across all Houses.
  • Support engagement initiatives and manager toolkits that bring our values to life.
  • Use data and feedback to shape better decisions, tracking engagement, retention, and growth.
  • Evaluate what’s working and evolve it to keep making work better for our teams.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who brings expertise, empathy, and a genuine love of seeing people grow. You might have come from hospitality, leisure, or early years, but you understand how much culture, care, and consistency matter when people are at the heart of the business.

  • Proven experience as a People or HR Business Partner.
  • A strong track record in designing and delivering L&D programmes.
  • Confidence coaching and influencing senior leaders.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
  • An eye for insight—you use data to tell stories and spark improvement.
  • A curious, hands-on attitude. You like to get stuck in and make things happen.

What Success Looks Like

  • Onboarding that helps every team member settle quickly and feel at home.
  • Clear career pathways that open up internal growth.
  • High engagement and performance across our Houses.
  • Leadership capability that grows with our business.
  • People initiatives that are felt, not just announced.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in fast-paced or scaling environments.
  • Background in Leisure, Early Years, or Hospitality sectors.
  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience designing digital or blended learning solutions.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

At OurHouse, we don’t just build clubs, we build communities. You’ll join a growing brand with heart, working alongside kind, passionate people who care about what they do.
