As a Floor Team Member at OurHouse, you'll be one of the first faces our members and their families see — setting the tone with a warm welcome, a calm presence, and the kind of attention to detail that makes every visit feel effortless. You'll work closely with the floor team and Supervisor to keep service flowing and standards high, all while helping every family feel genuinely looked after.
What You'll Do
- Welcome members and their families with warmth, and build familiarity with regulars — remembering names, preferences, and the little details
- Anticipate needs before they're asked — a refill, a high chair, a moment of attention for a child
- Take orders confidently and deliver food and drinks accurately, following OurHouse service standards
- Maintain strong menu knowledge, including ingredients and allergens, to guide and advise members
- Support set-up and close-down of the floor, and handle member queries with care, escalating where needed
- Uphold high standards of presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout every shift
- Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- A natural warmth with people — comfortable with everyone from toddlers to grandparents
- Great attention to detail and a calm, adaptable approach when things get busy
- A genuine team player who looks out for colleagues as much as members
- Previous front‑of‑house or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential — we hire for personality and teach the skills
- Awareness of food allergens and basic food hygiene, or willingness to complete training before starting
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
