As Chef de Partie at OurHouse, you'll take full ownership of your section delivering high-quality, consistent dishes while keeping things smooth, organised and calm even when service is at its busiest. You'll work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, support junior team members, and bring the kind of attention to detail that makes great food part of a bigger experience for the families we look after.
This is a role for someone who cares about doing things properly. You'll take pride in your section, stay composed under pressure, and help set the standard for the kitchen around you.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and deliver dishes to a consistently high standard, in line with OurHouse recipes and specifications
- Manage your section during service with confidence, staying organised and one step ahead
- Ensure prep is completed thoroughly so every service is set up for success
- Uphold food safety, allergen management and hygiene standards without exception, including HACCP records and temperature logs
- Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior team members, sharing knowledge and building their confidence
- Manage stock rotation and waste control within your section, and support with ordering as required
- Work closely with the front of house team for a seamless experience for every family
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a CDP, or a strong line chef ready to step up to section ownership
- Confidence running a section in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Calm, focused, and reliable under pressure
- Strong attention to detail across presentation, consistency and hygiene
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Awareness of allergen care, dietary needs and portion suitability when cooking for families
