We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations.
The FM will be responsible for financial reporting, preparing budgeting & facilitating forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership to support the company\’s financial health and growth, working alongside part-time FD.
About us : Our client is a leading provider of equipment in the SME sector. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to help us develop and expand in line with strategic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of day-to-day financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present draft accurate and timely financial statements / monthly MI in compliance with accounting standards working alongside FD.
- Work with FD to support discipline around cash flow, working capital, and financial planning to support business objectives.
- Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals where required.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to drive business performance.
- Lead the wider finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyse financial data and trends to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, VAT returns, and other statutory financial obligations.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial efficiency and operational effectiveness.
