Ourdrobe is a clothing exchange app designed to enable dynamic wardrobes while reducing textile waste. By extending the lifespan of garments through shared wardrobes, Ourdrobe aims to divert demand from damaging practices. The platform encourages sustainable fashion practices and promotes environmental responsibility among its users.

Role Overview

  • Location: Remote - work from anywhere as long as you have some overlapping working hours with CET
  • Term: 8 weeks (with possibility to extend into longer term role)
  • Time commitment: 5-10 hours per week (subject to agreement)
  • Salary/perks: Voluntary - this is a voluntary position for someone looking to gain real world experience building the audience for an exciting cause-driven start-up. The intern will receive a years free access to the app once available, plus extra perks and discounts for friends, on top of support and mentoring from the founder. There may be an opportunity to evolve into a paid position following the 6 week term, but this will be subject to performance and funding.

Description

Our app is bringing clothes swapping online to make it an easy and accessible solution for anyone who wants to maintain a dynamic style without partaking in damaging fashion practices. We are launching the Beta version of the app soon, and we need a Marketing Intern to help us to spread the word and get early-adopters signed up to the app.

You will play a pivotal role in building out our founding user base by spreading the word, growing our Instagram following, makeIing it a space where conscious style lovers want to hang out, and securing sign-ups for our app waitlist.

This is a great fit for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in social-first brand building, content creation, and launching a digital product with purpose.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Create and schedule Instagram posts, Reels, and stories
  • Contributing ideas to our campaign themes and tone of voice
  • Using tools like Canva or CapCut to make aesthetic, lo-fi content
  • Researching aligned creators or sustainable fashion trends
  • Engaging with our early community on social media
  • Attending regular check-ins with the founder to review progress
  • Identifying and events/opportunities to promote the brand and build your network

We\'re looking for someone who:

  • Cares about sustainable fashion and creative storytelling
  • Is passionate about driving behaviour change towards sustainable practices
  • Has experience running or curating your own social account
  • Loves playing with visuals, captions, or UGC

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
