We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent Warehouse Operative to join their busy and growing warehouse team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term career with a well-established business, working regular weekday hours with no weekend shifts.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be supporting the Goods In operation, ensuring all deliveries are received, checked and stored accurately.

You'll also support the wider warehouse team with general warehouse duties when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and unloading deliveries.
  • Checking goods against delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Booking stock into the warehouse accurately.
  • Moving stock safely using a Counterbalance FLT (where licensed).
  • Storing goods in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Assisting with picking, packing and dispatch as required.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential.
  • Experience working within a Goods In department is highly desirable.
  • A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
