Pay Rate: £13.22 to £14.82 p/h (£13.22 per hour + £1.60 holiday pay = £14.82 per hour total)

Hours: Monday & Tuesday – 06:00 to 16:30, Wednesday & Thursday – 06:00 to 16:00, Friday – 06:00 to 15:30

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Production Operatives in Alfreton to work with our client, who manufactures and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates. You must have strong math and English skills to be considered for this role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Checking products pre and post production
  • Using measurements and tape measures accurately
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Identifying and reporting defects or issues
  • Basic computer work including Word and Excel
  • Working with materials such as concrete and aggregates
  • General warehouse duties and housekeeping

This is a physically demanding role within a heavy industrial environment, so previous experience working in a similar type of role would be beneficial.

About you:

You will need to be physically fit to fulfil this role, and have previous experience using hand tools. You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
