Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: Leeds

Pay Rate: £15.97 to £17.89 p/h

Holiday Pay: £1.92 per hour if paid on top (£17.89 total if requested)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 start times)

Overtime: Very Occasional Saturdays

Experience: 12 months Class 2 essential – MPQC qual beneficial – must have experience on a Mixer

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is looking for Class 2 Drivers in Leeds to work with our client, who manufactures and distributes cement, ready‑mix concrete and aggregates.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 cement mixer vehicle
• Perform mixer work (training provided if required)
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain trailer and cab cleanliness
• Ensure all loads are placed and secured correctly
• Complete daily paperwork accurately
• Work to a high standard following site safety procedures

About you

• You will have a Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• You must also possess a UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card.
• Your licence may contain up to 6 points; however, DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements are not accepted.
• You are up to date with WTD regulations.

Previous experience working on a mixer is required.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with visa applications and cannot assist with relocation.
