Centric Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our client based in Bolton (BL3). Our client is one of the UK's leading bathroom manufacturers and retailers, supplying high-quality bathroom products to customers nationwide. The Role
As a Maintenance Operative, you will support the day-to-day maintenance of the warehouse and factory, ensuring the site remains safe, organised and fully operational. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with previous maintenance, labouring or DIY experience who enjoys practical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance across the warehouse and factory
- Build, repair and paint wooden pallets
- Complete basic welding and fabrication tasks where required
- Undertake general labouring duties across the site
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Report maintenance issues through the correct channels
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Support other departments with maintenance-related tasks when required

We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a maintenance, labouring or warehouse maintenance role
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Experience building or repairing pallets would be advantageous
- Welding and fabrication experience is desirable
- Strong DIY or general maintenance skills
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
- Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm or 7:00am – 3:00pm
Pay
£12.87 per hour
