Roles & Responsibilities:
- Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
- Collecting commercial refuse from different local areas each day
- Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins – providing excellent customer service and ensuring the bins are left tidy and correctly re-positioned once emptied
- Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users
- Completing daily checks and reporting any defects
- All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures
About you:
- Hold a Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially
- Have a UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card
- May have up to 6 points on your licence; DD, TT, DR, CD, and IN endorsements not accepted
- Up to date with WTD regulations
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, able to work independently when required
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious
- UK resident and able to travel to the site for your shift
- Cannot assist with VISA applications or relocation
