Job Title: Class 2 Driver - Skip Driver
Location: Hatfield
Pay Rate: £19.05- £28.58 p/h
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Driver Type: Class 2 - refuse driver
Experience: 6 months class 2 experience - essential
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Hatfield to work with our client, who provide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.
Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Driving and operating a Class 2 skip vehicle
- Delivering and collecting skips from customer sites
- Transporting waste safely to disposal facilities
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Completing all required paperwork accurately
- Providing professional customer service
- Following drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations
- Complying with health and safety and environmental procedures
- All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.
About you
- Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially.
- Experience on the skips.
- UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
- Up to date with the WTD regulations.
- UK resident able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
- We are unable to assist with VISA applications or relocation.
