About the role
As a Process Control Operator you will be responsible for providing a complete Food Safety and Quality Assurance function to various departments, ensuring that all products are manufactured safely and hygienically from the best quality raw materials to the highest possible quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure weights, temperatures, dates, and labels are correct on our products.
- Monitor new products, changes to specifications, and promotions from customers, and ensure production line colleagues follow company procedures and customer specifications.
- Identify inaccurate work and take corrective actions, accurately isolating any ingredient, packaging, or final product that may have issues.
- Comply with all technical and safety procedures, adhering to the quality manual and current legislation including HACCP.
Requirements
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment or similar environment preferred.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, chilled environment.
- Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety practices.
- Ability to manage or follow management instructions and procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Basic awareness of health and safety and food hygiene.
