What You’ll Be Doing As a Portfolio Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing and supporting commercial data to drive improvements and inform business decisions within our portfolio. Working closely with the Portfolio team, you’ll bring financial rigor and insight, helping to align projects with strategic objectives and identifying opportunities for growth. This is an analytical role focused on maximising the success of our food production portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing relevant materials and decision documents rooted in data analysis.
- Lead and facilitate the Project Lifecycle Review (PLR) process, assessing project performance across critical metrics, capturing key insights for application in future projects, and sharing these with relevant teams.
- Integrate PLR findings and actionable insights into monthly IBP reporting and the commercial review process.
- Analyse range performance within the portfolio, identifying any areas of concern and proposing solutions.
- Assist the portfolio management team in portfolio improvement initiatives, conducting investigative analysis, and offering strategic recommendations.
- Step in for the Portfolio Manager as needed to ensure ongoing business continuity and process flow.
- Work collaboratively across functions to promote consistent processes within portfolio management, driving alignment across projects and sites.
- Conduct deep dives into cost structures across sites to enhance competitiveness in new business bids, understanding cost drivers and promoting cost transparency.
