We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to play a key role in managing our relationships with JS, Waitrose, Asda, Brands and Grocery customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll build strong customer partnerships, identify opportunities for growth, and help ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service, innovation and commercial value. This is a flexible hybrid role based in Leeds, with the opportunity to work from home. To support collaboration with colleagues and customers, you'll be expected to spend 1-2 days per week at our Leeds site, regardless of your home location. The Role
You'll be responsible for shaping and executing account strategies, working cross-functionally to unlock value, and ensuring we consistently meet both customer expectations and internal performance targets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver strategic account plans aligned to Greencore's wider customer strategy
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, using market and competitor insight to anticipate and meet customer needs
- Collaborate with Marketing and Portfolio teams to create compelling, customer-focused propositions
- Lead joint business planning and customer negotiations to maximise sales and profitability
- Challenge existing ways of working to drive continuous improvement across both Greencore and customer partnerships
- Produce accurate demand forecasts, ensuring supply chain alignment and robust financial planning
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the accounts
- Travel regularly to customer sites (full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required)
We're Looking For
- Degree calibre (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of the convenience food market
- Proven experience in Account Management within FMCG or retail
- Experience managing or influencing people and cross-functional teams
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
