Homes & Antiques is looking for a Digital Content Creator to support its growth and deliver commercial aims by producing timely, engaging content that reaches audiences across multiple platforms including its website, Apple News, social media and newsletters. This hands‑on and varied role is for a passionate individual who understands how great digital content works and has a natural curiosity for what makes audiences tick across various platforms.
The role involves identifying stories with strong discovery potential and turning them into engaging content across formats, prioritising in line with the commercial strategy. A good knowledge of the interiors market and an understanding of what matters to interiors lovers is required, ideally from a journalism, social media or digital marketing background.
Responsibilities- Write engaging, high‑performing digital content for Homes & Antiques and experiment with new formats to maximise reach and audience engagement across all platforms.
- Create and publish content on Facebook and Instagram and schedule posts when necessary, using Social Bee.
- Create, build and send regular newsletters, adapting existing content for email and supporting the testing of new formats.
- Optimise headlines, upload and format articles in the CMS, fact‑check copy and repurpose content for use across multiple platforms.
- Use performance data and audience insights to inform ideas and build on successful content to deliver commercial aims.
- Work collaboratively with the audience development, marketing and other central teams.
- Proven ability to produce and manage digital content channels for a media brand delivering engagement and growth.
- Experience and understanding of managing social media channels and newsletters.
- An understanding of how content performs across modern digital platforms, such as Apple News, Google Discover and Google News.
- An understanding of Google Analytics.
- A talented writer who can quickly craft engaging original content and adapt existing material into online content.
- Comfortable fronting person‑led content to create meaningful connections with a wide variety of audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and ensure tight deadlines are hit.
- A very keen eye for accuracy and detail.
