Our Lady Star of the Sea School (Christchurch) Canterbury is seeking a compassionate, patient, and proactive teacher aide to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our classroom teachers to support Year 5–8 students who have a range of learning needs.

Key requirements:

Able to use initiative to anticipate student needs and act independently.
Agility and adaptability to quickly respond to changing classroom dynamics.
Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
A natural ability to build rapport and create a safe, encouraging environment for students with learning difficulties.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Hours: 10–15 hours per week (Term time only)

Fixed term position starting Term 3 2026 until December 2027.
