Our Lady Star of the Sea is a welcoming Catholic school in the seaside community of Sumner. Our Catholic heritage and the charism of Contemplation, Communion and Mission shape who we are and how we care for one another.
We are seeking an exceptional, passionate teacher to join our small, connected school community. We value strong relationships with tamariki and whānau, inclusive practice, student agency and effective teaching, particularly structured literacy and structured mathematics. A likely placement is within our junior school.
Staff are expected to recognise and respect the school’s Catholic special character and be actively involved in the life of the school, in a manner that respects the religious instruction given and religious observances practised within the school.
