Our Lady & St. Bede Catholic Academy are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Safeguarding & Mentoring Officer. As the Safeguarding & Mentoring Officer you will play a critical role promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children at all times and a lead role in promoting and nurturing the Catholic/Christian ethos of the school in their daily work.
You will be expected to play a lead role in helping to ensure that there is an outstanding climate for learning in the school, be a strong, visible presence during the school day and undertake responsibilities such as assemblies and duty rota work. A key part of your role will be to contribute to monitoring and developing pastoral care, achievement and the broader life of the school. Critical to success will be your ability to build strong professional relationships with all staff and pupils.
