We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to join our team as an Educational Teaching Assistant. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant qualifications or strong classroom experience, as well as those who may be new to school settings but have a genuine passion for helping children and a strong desire to make a difference.

Our school community is wonderfully diverse, and no two days are ever the same. The role will involve supporting teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups, pupils with additional needs, and whole classes as required. The role is varied and offers the chance to build positive relationships with children across different year groups. This variety is one of the things that makes our school such a rewarding place to work.

We are looking for someone who can adapt confidently to different situations, communicate effectively and uphold our behaviour expectations with consistency and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be resilient, positive and forward‑thinking, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping children thrive both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will actively support the Mission Statement and the Ethos of our Catholic Primary School. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not automatically exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered carefully as part of the recruitment process.

In return, you will join a supportive and collaborative staff team who work closely together and celebrate the many successes of our pupils. This is a flexible opportunity, and we are happy to discuss working days or part‑time arrangements for the right candidate.

Visits are warmly welcomed and highly recommended; we’d love you to come and see what we do.
