Teaching Assistant Level 2

Overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Teaching Assistant to join our Academy and support students. Reporting to SENDCo, the successful candidate will support the day to day running of our TA provision and develop learning skills for students. With a flexible approach, you will:

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction and guidance of teaching / senior staff to support groups and individuals in their learning.
• Work across the academy to deliver specific intervention programmes, for which training will be provided.
• Assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
• Deliver the Fresh Start programme to support reading
• Develop good relationships with staff, parents, carers and other professionals.
• Contribute to the strong Catholic ethos of our Academies
