The core objectives of the Digital Transformation Lead is to lead, develop & implement strategic plans for South East Shropshire PCN and their member practices.
Main duties of the job:
- The post holder will work with clinical and operational teams within the Primary Care Network (PCN) to create a vision that guides service improvements, identifies opportunities for tangible positive transformation, and provides the inspiration, resources, and tools to deliver changes collaboratively.
- The post holder will support the development of this vision in alignment with the Integrated Care System (ICS) strategy.
- The post holder will plan, coordinate and directly support the delivery of transformation activity in general practice within a PCN, with a view to improving patient access, staff and patient satisfaction, and the efficiency and sustainability of general practice services.

We are currently a GP partnership of 29 practices with 38 surgeries, serving around 280,000 patients in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Shropshire.

Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent level education OR ability to demonstrate competency at this level
- Project Management Certificate (Quality Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) or Prince 2)
- Digital and Transformation Lead Development Programme
- Quality Improvement training
Experience:
- Experience in overseeing and delivering multiple programmes of IT projects through the entire project lifecycle
- Experience in developing and managing relationships with a variety of clients and stakeholders
- Experience of using programme management and improvement techniques to drive change forward, including translating strategic objectives into tangible plans for delivery and following these through the completion
- Demonstrable experience of working in general practice with a good knowledge of general practice systems, processes and procedures.
- Experience of increasing participation in an initiative through communications and engagement
- Experience of championing diversity and inclusion and promoting actions to make improvements to the experience of diverse groups

- Ability to use data and insight to both drive change and to understand and adapt programmes of work whilst in progress to allow learning to be integrated into delivery
- Ability to work and make decisions autonomously and to identify and act on challenges to move delivery forward, potentially working to tight timescales
- Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information from a range of sources and present it clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of PCN networks and their priorities
- Good understanding of the digital agenda within the NHS and Social Care or Care Sector
- Exceptional organisation and administrative skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software / Outlook / PowerPoint and Excel
- Good oral and written communication skills
- A general understanding of the NHS and the way it works both locally and nationally.
