This role is open to a senior designer who feels like they have the experience to take the next step or a design director who already has the relevant experience.

OMSE are searching for a highly conceptual, detail-oriented, and multi-disciplinary creative to join our team in London on a full-time basis in our Shoreditch studio with work-from-home on Wednesdays.

ABOUT US

We are an award-winning branding studio working across a variety of sectors and disciplines. We believe that any organisation can look good and have impact in the world around them – whether they are an up-and-coming tech company, an eclectic music venue or even a 200 year old church in Hackney!

Currently, we are a tight-knit, highly collaborative team consisting of two creative directors, one account director, and two designers. This is a very exciting time to join as we continue to grow.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We see the role being split in two ways:

From a creative perspective:

  1. You will oversee the design department, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.
  2. Lead the design direction for projects, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand strategy, project cadence, and deadlines.
  3. Stay up to date with industry trends and new tools to push the creative process of the team as a whole.
  4. Your time will be split between designing and leading on projects.

From a management perspective:

  1. You’ll be able to manage and allocate resources efficiently across projects with accounts.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and goals.
  3. Present confidently to large groups of people.
  4. You’ll take part in new business conversations, offering design guidance to potential new clients and helping shape compelling proposals.
  5. Helping us identify and recruit talent to help us build the best design team possible – from full-time hires to freelancers and other collaborators.
  6. Take the lead on building the studio culture, through work approaches, daily practices, and other activities.

Salary will be based on experience.
