Our Future Health is an ambitious collaboration between the public, charity and private sectors, designed to help people live healthier lives for longer through better prevention, earlier detection and improved treatment of diseases.

We will speed up the discovery of new methods of early disease detection, and the evaluation of new diagnostic tools, to help identify and treat diseases early, when outcomes are usually better.

With over 2.5M volunteers across the UK, we’re now the world’s biggest health research programme of its kind, and our volunteer group is also more diverse than other, similar health research programmes.

Our systems power web sites, clinics across the UK, secure analytics and research systems, pipelines that process highly sensitive health and genetic data, and we are continuing to grow our capability to support this ambition.

You'll help us better understand where opportunities for growth exist, which organisations and customer groups we should focus on, how our commercial performance is developing, and where data can help inform future investment and planning.

You'll combine strong analytical skills with commercial curiosity to turn complex data into meaningful insights.

From market sizing and customer segmentation through to pipeline performance, forecasting and strategic planning, you'll help provide the evidence and context that supports informed decision-making across the organisation.

Partnering closely with colleagues across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Product, Revenue Operations and Data, you'll help develop a deeper understanding of our market, our customers and our performance.

Together, you'll build trusted insights that enable confident, data-informed decisions across the business.

You will

  • Develop market and customer intelligence
  • Build a deep understanding of our addressable market, industry landscape, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
  • Carry out market sizing, competitive analysis, and external research to help inform commercial strategy and investment decisions.
  • Shape segmentation and Ideal Customer Profiles
  • Partner with Commercial and Marketing teams to define, refine, and validate market segments and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP).
  • Use data and insight to identify the highest-value opportunities and help improve targeting effectiveness.
  • Support strategic commercial decision-making
  • Provide analysis and recommendations that help leadership prioritise markets, customer segments, partnerships, and commercial initiatives.
  • Translate data into clear strategic choices and business actions.
  • Build and scale our analytics foundations
  • Design and improve data models, reporting structures, and analytical frameworks that support commercial and marketing decision-making.
  • Help ensure data is accurate, scalable, and accessible for self-service reporting and analysis.
  • Inform commercial performance insight
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and analysis that provide visibility of commercial performance across the customer lifecycle.
  • Help teams understand pipeline health, conversion rates, customer behaviour, revenue performance, and growth trends.
  • Support forecasting and planning
  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasts, pipeline models, and scenario analyses.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to support planning, target-setting, and investment decisions.
  • Define and govern commercial metrics
  • Work with Revenue Operations, Marketing and Finance to develop consistent definitions for commercial and marketing metrics, including pipeline, conversion, CAC, LTV, revenue performance and customer engagement.
  • Help maintain a trusted source of commercial reporting across the organisation.
  • Strengthen pipeline visibility and CRM effectiveness
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to improve pipeline visibility, sales process measurement, CRM data quality, and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide insight that helps improve commercial efficiency and forecasting confidence.
  • Support sales and marketing effectiveness
  • Evaluate campaign performance, channel effectiveness, customer acquisition strategies, sales activity, and pricing approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Deliver customer and account intelligence
  • Provide targeted insight on priority organisations, customer groups, and opportunities to support business development, marketing activities, and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Run performance reviews and drive accountability
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with clear reporting, performance narratives, and actionable recommendations.
  • Help teams focus on the metrics that matter most.
  • Deliver actionable insights
  • Transform complex analyses into compelling stories and recommendations that influence strategy, prioritisation, and decision-making at all levels of the organisation.

We’re London-based (Holborn) and work on a flexible hybrid basis (typically weekly with a team day every 2 weeks).

Requirements

Essential

  • Significant experience in commercial analytics, commercial strategy, market intelligence, growth analytics, or a related field
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools such as Omni, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience building data models and working with large, complex datasets
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Hub Spot or Salesforce and understanding commercial pipelines
  • Experience with forecasting, scenario modelling, and commercial performance analysis
  • Strong understanding of commercial and marketing metrics including conversion rates, CAC, LTV, pipeline performance, and revenue growth
  • Experience developing insights that inform strategic business decisions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making through data
  • Experience facilitating business reviews and performance discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving environment

  • Experience conducting market sizing, segmentation, and competitive analysis
  • Familiarity with analytics pipelines and dbt
  • Experience developing Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), target market frameworks, or go-to-market strategies

  • Familiarity with healthcare, research, data, technology, or life sciences sectors
  • Experience using external market data sources and research methodologies

Hiring Process

  • Initial chat with our Talent team (30 min) to get to know each other, discuss the role, and answer any questions you have.
  • 1st interview with your potential line manager giving you an opportunity to align with role expectations.

The call will focus on commercial analytics, forecasting, and stakeholder management.

  • Technical interview with 2 members from our data and commercial teams (60 min).

This will include a short presentation within the interview that will focus on forecasting, commercial judgement, metrics, problem solving.

  • Final stage competency interview (60 min) with a small cross-functional panel of your potential new stakeholders.

This will focus on collaboration, ownership, influence and values.
