Our Future Health is building a healthier future for the UK through research. We’re looking for an experienced

Events Manager to coordinate corporate and organisation-wide events that support our priorities, strengthen our reputation and bring people together.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to turn an event brief into a smooth, professional experience.

You’ll manage the detail from initial plans through to delivery on the day, working with colleagues, senior leaders, venues and suppliers.

You’ll also help teams across the organisation plan their own events by providing practical advice, useful resources and consistent standards.

What you’ll do

You’ll plan and deliver a varied programme of events, including corporate events, company conferences, all-colleague meetings and leadership events.

You’ll work with colleagues across Communications, People & Culture and other teams to shape each event around its purpose and audience.

You’ll take responsibility for the practicalities: developing event plans and schedules, sourcing venues, coordinating speakers and attendees, managing suppliers and budgets, and overseeing travel, catering, technology and materials.

You’ll support in-person, virtual and hybrid events, making sure they are accessible and inclusive.

You’ll also help Our Future Health make thoughtful choices about the corporate events it attends, supporting our profile and credibility in the health research space.

This work is different from marketing events focused on generating new business opportunities.

Across the organisation, you’ll be a central source of event expertise.

You’ll create and maintain guidance, templates and resources to help teams deliver events consistently, while helping identify where central support can make the biggest difference.

You’ll gather feedback, assess how events have gone and use what you learn to improve future planning and delivery.

  • You’ll have proven experience coordinating corporate, internal or stakeholder events, with the organisational skills to manage several moving parts and deadlines at once.
  • You’ll be confident working with venues and suppliers, coordinating logistics and materials, tracking budgets and finding good value.
  • You’ll build strong relationships across teams and communicate clearly with colleagues, external partners and senior leaders.
  • You’ll be proactive, attentive to detail and comfortable working independently, while staying flexible when plans change.

Experience delivering in-person, virtual and hybrid events is essential .

  • Experience with large-scale conferences or organisation-wide events would be valuable, as would experience developing event processes and guidance.
  • Knowledge of accessibility, health and safety and event risk management is also welcome.

Closing date for applications: 9am, 16th November.

  • Salary from £50,000.
  • Generous Pension Scheme – We invest in your future with employer contributions of up to 12%.
  • 30 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays – Enjoy a generous holiday allowance with the flexibility to take bank holidays when it suits you.
  • Enhanced Parental Leave – Supporting you during life’s biggest moments.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme – Save 25-39% on a new bike and accessories through salary sacrifice.
  • Home & Tech Savings – Get up to 8% off on IKEA and Currys products, spreading the cost over 12 months through salary sacrifice.
  • £1,000 Employee Referral Bonus – Know someone amazing? Get rewarded for bringing them on board!
  • Wellbeing Support – Access to Mental Health First Aiders, plus 24/7 online GP services and an Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family.
  • A Great Place to Work – We have a lovely Central London office in Holborn, and offer flexible and remote working arrangements.
