We're looking for a User Research Operations Manager to join our growing team and help create the systems, processes and ways of working that enable high-quality, efficient and ethical user research across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their ResearchOps career who loves bringing order to complexity, improving how teams work, and making it easier for research insights to have impact. You may already have experience in a ResearchOps role, or perhaps you've developed strong operational skills in an agency, consultancy, insight, customer research or service delivery environment. If you're curious, organised, collaborative and passionate about helping research teams do their best work, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Enable great research delivery
  • Support researchers in planning and delivering studies by providing practical operational guidance
  • Help ensure research activities run smoothly, consistently and efficiently
  • Improve research systems and tooling
  • Manage and optimise the tools, platforms and processes that support research delivery
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve team productivity
  • Make insights easier to find and use
  • Maintain and improve research repositories and knowledge management systems
  • Contribute to improving how evidence and insights are organised and shared across the organisation
  • Champion ethical and inclusive research
  • Support governance, ethics and data protection processes
  • Help embed accessibility and inclusive recruitment practices into research delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and operational documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Work with researchers and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve ways of working
  • Explore how AI-enabled tools and automation can help increase the speed, quality and scalability of research operations
  • Contribute to building a strong ResearchOps culture and capability across the organisation

Requirements

  • Experience in research operations, service operations, or a similar operational role
  • Experience managing processes involving recruitment, scheduling, vendors, tooling or stakeholder coordination
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A systems-thinking approach and a passion for improving how things work
  • Experience using tools that support research, customer insight, service delivery or operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality and consistency
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • An interest in user research and understanding the needs of research teams
