We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, organised and people-focused People Experience Administrator to join our People & Culture team on a maternity cover basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their HR career to play a key role in shaping the day-to‑day experience of our people, ensuring every interaction – from onboarding to development – feels smooth, supportive and well‑coordinated. This role places you at the heart of our People function, helping to keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes while also being a friendly and trusted first point of contact for colleagues across the organisation. What You'll Be Doing
- Respond to internal and external HR‑related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Maintain records of people‑related data (payroll, personal information, new starters, leavers, etc.)
- Support the hiring process by performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts, etc.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, etc., and maintain the team’s diaries
- Coordinate training sessions and events
- Perform new starter checks, onboarding/off‑boarding, and update records
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Support ad‑hoc HR projects
- Support surveys to assess employee engagement
- Support individual training needs, working with the L&D Partner to develop tailored plans for all employees
- Administer various employee benefits programmes, such as pensions
- Formulate methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices, and recommend changes to management
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast‑paced HR function
- Excellent hands‑on experience in using MS Office, databases and HRIS systems
- Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational and time‑management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Great attention to detail – ability to complete tasks with concern for all aspects, establishing thorough checking procedures
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost care
- Ability to work independently with willingness to take responsibility for outcomes, and to judge when to ask for guidance
- Ability to work collaboratively with people, demonstrating flexibility in style and approach to changing demands
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Professional, self‑motivated, and proactive
- Desire to offer elevated customer service in everything you do
- Any additional training and certification in Human Resource Management will be considered an advantage
