We are currently supporting a major transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant who can operate as the bridge between business and technology teams. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong SAP functional expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills, helping users navigate change, drive adoption, and ensure successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
The Role
Working across business and IT teams, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and optimisation of SAP Asset Management processes, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective solutions while guiding stakeholders through testing, change, and deployment activities. This is not purely a configuration-focused role. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with end users, facilitating workshops, supporting UAT, and helping drive business readiness and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
- Support SAP Plant Maintenance and Asset Management initiatives
- Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, and process discussions
- Guide business users through change management activities
- Coordinate and support UAT, testing cycles, defect management, and business sign-off
- Assist with training, business readiness, and deployment activities
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions and recommendations
- Support process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements
- Strong SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) experience
- Good understanding of SAP Asset Management processes
- Experience supporting business transformation and change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience supporting UAT, testing, training, and business adoption activities
- Ability to operate effectively between business and IT teams
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations and asset lifecycle management
Desirable Experience
- Active SC Clearance
- Experience with SAP Mobile Working solutions
- Exposure to SAP Quality Management (QM)
- Cross-functional understanding across maintenance, operations, and quality processes
- Experience working within complex enterprise transformation programmes
