We are currently supporting a growing consultancy that is looking to bring in a Data Consultant with strong technical foundations and the ambition to develop into a broader data-focused role over time. This position will initially focus on supporting a large-scale SAP programme, working closely with business users on data migration activities, before expanding into wider areas including data analysis, governance, and transformation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career and gain exposure across both the technical and business sides of enterprise data projects.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support data extraction and transformation activities from legacy systems into predefined templates
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, resolve, and improve data quality issues
  • Support users through data validation cycles and Go-Live activities
  • Collaborate across business and project teams during SAP data migration initiatives
  • Gain exposure to broader areas including data governance, analysis, and transformation programmes

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience within data-focused positions
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Power Query, or similar transferable technologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable operating in business-facing environments
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • SAP exposure
  • Data migration experience
  • Experience working on transformation or ERP-related projects
