Shuffle Board Game Café in Bury St Edmunds is looking for a part-time member of Team Shuffle, with a particular focus on hosting and running Trading Card Game (TCG) events. The role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of TCGs, confidence in running Swiss-style tournaments and a passion for building a gaming community.
The successful candidate will help organise tournaments, manage players and results and use event management software such as Melee.gg, Carde.IO and Wizards EventLink. Experience with these platforms is beneficial but training can be provided. Knowledge of Flesh and Blood, Riftbound, Lorcana or One Piece is particularly welcomed, alongside other TCGs such as Magic: The Gathering.
Alongside TCG events, general café duties will include serving customers, preparing food and drinks, restocking, cleaning and helping with the day-to-day running of the café.
The position offers 5–16 hours per week , with shift work including regular weekend availability. Monday evening availability is essential and applicants must be aged 18 or over. Pay is National Minimum Wage, plus an equal share of team tips and additional staff benefits.
Shuffle is looking for someone to be trained and working by mid-November 2026. Applications close on Sunday 11th October 2026, with interviews expected on Monday 12th and Monday 19th October.
