About the Role

This role offers a strong opportunity to be part of OUP’s expanding supplier‑led production model—an increasingly important part of how ELT content is created and delivered globally. As a Supplier Delivery Coordinator, you will contribute directly to the fast, reliable, and scalable delivery of ELT products by supporting content, design, media, and digital production workflows. You will be part of the offshore Noida operations team, enabling smoother execution for Content Commissioning Leads, Product Managers, and the Supplier Led Delivery function. You will also work with modern delivery systems, workflow standards, and evolving AI‑driven tools that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and operational transparency. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordination, problem‑solving, workflow management, and supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder delivery processes.

Opportunity – the ‘what’

  • Delivery Process Management
    • Manage day‑to‑day operational delivery tasks across assigned projects.
    • Coordinate delivery milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
    • Support end‑to‑end project setup, including folder structures, templates, naming standards, and delivery schedules.
    • Lead or support project kick‑off activities with suppliers and internal teams.
    • Coordinate supplier onboarding, including access setup, file supply, asset preparation, and tools/templates.
    • Assemble operational details, technical specs, file references, and delivery instructions for briefings.
    • Maintain clarity on workflow expectations, delivery standards, and responsibilities.
  • Asset Management & Supply
    • Prepare, organise, and supply all assets required for delivery (source files, templates, images, scripts, design assets).
    • Ensure correct access controls for suppliers.
    • Maintain version control and ensure suppliers have the latest files.
    • Support continuous updates and corrections throughout delivery cycles.
  • Workflow Management, Improvement & Governance
    • Ensure suppliers follow agreed workflows, delivery processes, and file governance.
    • Maintain structured folder hierarchies and version control across deliverables.
    • Track workflow progression in project systems.
    • Use AI‑driven tools for automation, smart quality checks, metadata validation, and governance.
    • Identify and implement workflow improvements using data insights and performance analytics.
  • Cost & Administrative Support
    • Collate and input cost estimates using rate cards and input from UK leads.
    • Support creation of cost groups and specs briefing documentation.
    • Update SAP with milestone schedules, specifications, cost information, and workflow actions.
  • Project Tracking, Systems & Data
    • Maintain accurate data, status tracking, and task progression in ClickUp.
    • Log and track supplier queries and escalate where required.
    • Maintain all project documentation including trackers, schedules, and status logs.
  • Editorial Scheduling & Iteration
    • Create and maintain editorial schedules based on project requirements and supplier capacity.
    • Update schedules as delivery progresses, ensuring alignment with UK teams and suppliers.
  • Digital, Design & Media Production
    • Support digital, media, and design workflows, including file preparation, content packaging, metadata entry, upload tasks.
    • Coordinate deliverables to meet technical specifications and project requirements.
    • Act as a coordination point between suppliers and UK teams.
    • Communicate updates, changes, dependencies, and required actions.
    • Identify and resolve blockers early to maintain delivery momentum.

About You

  • Experience in project coordination, publishing operations, production workflows, or supplier/vendor management
  • Ability to work accurately with data, metadata, file structures, and product systems
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to follow workflows, apply AI/automation tools, follow SOPs, and uphold documentation standards
  • Experience with administrative or coordination support in publishing/product operational roles
  • Knowledge of SAP, Biblio, Salesforce, ClickUp or similar systems
