About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Division as a Senior Demand Planner, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping demand and supply planning for the South Region and supporting national-level forecasting for the School Education division. Opportunity Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain demand forecasts for the South region and oversee national-level forecasts.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models.
- Conduct regional S&OP meetings, collaborate with Sales, Production, and Customer teams for accurate planning.
- Provide input to supply planning for inventory norms and stock availability.
- Analyze data for forecast accuracy, back-orders, and business requirements.
Impact on Team and Organization
- Ensure accurate forecasting to optimize inventory levels and reduce back-orders.
- Act as the information hub for senior management, enabling strategic decisions.
- Drive collaboration across Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to improve service levels.
About You
- 10–15 years of experience in demand/supply planning roles.
- Exposure to multi-region or Pan-India planning.
- Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and business acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP environments.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Experience in project-based inventory initiatives.
- Familiarity with consensus forecasting and S&OP processes.
