The Recognition Manager is responsible for securing, maintaining, and enhancing the recognition of OxfordAQA qualifications across new and existing international markets. This includes engaging with ministries of education, regulators, universities, qualification bodies, and other influential stakeholders to ensure that OxfordAQA qualifications are approved, valued, and understood globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead recognition activity in new and existing countries, ensuring all required national or regional approvals are secured.
- Monitor and respond to regulatory or policy changes that impact the acceptance of OxfordAQA qualifications.
- Prepare recognition submissions and formal documentation required by ministries or regulators.
- Manage relationships with universities, ministries of education, and other stakeholders.
- Represent OxfordAQA at major international conferences (e.g., EAIE, UK ENIC).
- Deliver recognition webinars and advocacy sessions.
- Build clear recognition messaging and guidance materials.
- Provide expert advice to sales teams, schools, and partners.
- Serve as the internal expert on recognition.
- Ensure teams have accurate, up-to-date recognition information.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of global education systems.
- Experience working with ministries, HE institutions, or regulators.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Experience in recognition or regulatory roles (desirable).
- Familiarity with UK qualifications (desirable).
- Experience engaging with recognition bodies or HE conferences (desirable).
